About Bailey

Adoption Fee: $25
Australian Cattle Dog / Schnauzer
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Bailey was found in northern Illinois in December in the back of a horse trailer tied up with her coat/skin frozen to the bottom of the metal trailer. The owner said she was stupid and if I wanted to get her out good luck and take her. It took us time, warm water, a lot of patients to get the skin warmed up and the hair cut. She was not happy but you would not be either. She has adapted to life in the house. VERY VERY housebroken. I can leave her in the house for 10 to 14 hours without any accidents. She does herd ANYTHING that will let her. Barks at the donkey but not the horses. Goes with me to feed the ducks and never attempts to go after them. Loves the cats but does like to play boss when I have all the dogs running together. She loves to go in any vehicle that is leaving, wants to be with somebody, and loves to he held, petted, and any attention given to her. Kennels on command. WARNING! She has growled at my grandkids (ages 5 & 7) when they wanted to be right in her face. She has NEVER bitten and I don't know that she ever would but I wanted to be honest. The older foster kids have a great time with her.
