About Sammie

Sammie is a very sweet girl. We adopted her from the SPCA about a year and a half ago and learned real quick that she was a handful. She will be 2 in November and loves to play. Unfortunately, our home does not provide Sammie with what she needs and neither do we. She needs someone that knows how to train a dog and challenge them. She needs to live somewhere with a privacy fence and a lot of land to run as she has started jumping the fence to go on adventures. I don't have the option where I live to have a privacy fence or to raise the height of my fence. She also knows how to open the gate and while she's on her adventures, she finds friends and opens the gate for them. She really is very smart but is not challenged/exercised by us. She loves the kids and is always excited to see them. She lives with 3 cats and really doesn't pay them any mind. She does have a fear of new things. She loves attention and belly rubs. She really is sweet and we wish the circumstances were different but we live off of a very busy road and are afraid that she will run into traffic one day when she jumps the fence. As it stands right now we have to leave her in all day and don't really have time for her in the evening so she's not getting exercised at all. She's needs attention.
