About LITTLE RED

SAY HELLO TO LITTLE RED! Little Red is a very sweet Chihuahua mixed with a bit of Dachshund 4 month old puppy boy. Weighing in at just 5 pounds, this little guy is such a sweet and playful boy. He is so soft and velvety to the touch! And his puppy breath!!Little Red is a bit of a shy boy when you meet him, but once he warms up, he is just so dang cute and cuddly! At 4 months old, Little Red is learning to prance around on the leash already and is getting quite good at it. He gets on well with his foster mates and would thrive with another small breed similar in size, age and personality... not too aggressive or rough as he is only 5 pounds. Little Red does well with strangers and kids alike. He would very much make a wonderful friend to a family with children over the age of 10 that have experience and respect for small dogs. Little Red is learning the house training and will require a family with the patience, understanding and gentle guidance that will be needed with a 4 month old. Little Red's grooming needs are very easy .. baths as needed to keep his velvety red coat looking beautiful as well as professional nail trims and ear cleaning every 8-12 weeks. Little Red's adoption fee is 175.00 Hotshot's's adoption fee includes his Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, his neuter, all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Little Red will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free puppy kibble that he has been eating. His adoption fee also allows us the ability to put funds towards the next little one in need of rescue!
