About Casey

Casey is one of 6 dogs that was left on an empty property after the family moved away and left all the dogs. For most of her short life she was kept locked up and not socialized. Because of this she can be very shy in the beginning, but once she warms up you have a friend for life! She is a little more wary of men than women, but with the right interactions she does just fine. Casey absolutely LOVES other dogs and loves to play! She has a lot of energy and will entertain herself with her toys if no one wants to play with her. Her most favorite thing in the world is going to the dog park! She walks well on a leash, is crate trained (although she doesn't necessarily need one), knows how to Sit on command, and has come a long way with her house training and social skills. We believe she is around 2 years old and currently weighs about 46 lbs. As for breed we saw a dog that looked almost exactly like her that was a Malinois/Aussie mix so that is our best guess... she sure is cute though! Her fur is mostly tan with some black and white mixed in, but her muzzle is blue merle which is interesting. She is a perfect medium sized dog and will do great in a home with another dog(s) to show her the ropes.
