About Aroha

Aroha (Ro) is a 12 - 14 year old spitz mix who weighs about 30 pounds. Ro loves people. She follows her person everywhere she goes and sometimes give her a gentle nuzzle with her nose as she's walking. She also loves meal time and naps. She gets along with everybody! She lives with 5 other dogs in her foster home - some are over 100 pounds and one is about her size. She's too old and dignified to play with them, but she loves to go out and explore the yard with them. Ro is looking for a nice quiet home to live out her senior years. She hasn't been around small children, but because of her age, she'd probably be happier in a home with older kids. She can walk up and down short flights of stairs as long as they aren't too steep. She's house-trained, walks well on leash, gets along with other dogs and LOVES people. Ro told us that a perfect day for her includes checking out her fenced in yard, eating, napping, a short walk, and most of all being near my person��%BD��%BD%BD'��%BD��%BD%BD|.. She was rescued from a shelter in South Carolina. When Ro first came to us, she was emaciated, had a severe flea infestation with related skin issues, an upper respiratory infection, and her nails were so long, she had difficulty walking. She is now a healthy weight, flea free, up-to-date on all vaccines, heart worm negative, and ready for her forever home. Aroha's adoption fee is $175. This includes her deworming, dhpp & rabies vaccines, flea & tick preventive through date of adoption, heart worm preventive through date of adoption, spay, and microchip.
