About Orella

Meet little Orella who was named for her wonderful ears. This little girl is just a puppy at just 7 months old. She came to us through another rescue who pulled her and her mother from an overcrowded shelter. Orella's mother is a Husky, but it is clear that Orella is mixed with a much smaller breed and is going to be much smaller than her mother. She is currently only 17 pounds. Orella is a sweet girl who bonds to her people quickly and loves to snuggle with those who care for her. She enjoys romping outdoors and playing, so we are requiring that her new home have a fenced yard. She enjoys her dog toys and is very good at occupying herself with them. She is gaining more confidence everyday as she experiences new sights and sounds. She is a low-key puppy who is very gentle in everything from taking treats to meeting new people. We aren't sure why, but Orella is nervous and mistrustful of other dogs. She can walk by or even with another dog, but she would prefer to be the only dog in her home. She is good with cats. She hasn't had any exposure to small children, so her new home should not have children under the age of 7. She walks nicely on a leash with very little pulling. Orella is housetrained. Orella is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and on heartworm preventative.
