About Daisy

Beagle / Jack Russell
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

****The website is updated several times daily. Please do not email to ask if there are still dogs/puppies available.**** PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! YOU WILL FIND THE ANSWER TO ALL BASIC QUESTIONS BELOW. Please read carefully Before emailing. *Daisy is a darling girl who just turned two years old. She was adopted from PFR as a puppy , and was recently returned to rescue due to upheaval in her adoptive family. Daisy's mother was a small terrier, Jack Russell, or rat terrier. Her father was a beagle. She is full-grown at about 18 pounds. *Daisy has lived with her family since she was eight or nine weeks old. She is adjusting to being back in the foster home, it is a little strange for her. She is doing fine with the other dogs in her foster home. Daisy has been living as an only dog, and would be fine going back to that situation. Daisy has never lived with a cat. Daisy has lived with older, school age children. We do not know if she has ever met toddlers or young children. Daisy is active and playful. She would benefit greatly from some obedience and other basic training. Daisy is house and crate trained, and she has also been allowed to use potty pads. (We strongly encourage dogs of all sizes to be house trained for outdoors.) *Each pup is spayed or neutered and current on their vet cares. *We do not hold or reserve dogs. We do not ship or fly. Prospective families must come to NORTHFIELD MN to meet. Aside from monthly adoption events, we do not meet in the Twin Cities* *Emails are answered in the order they are received. We are receiving a large number of emails, so answering promptly is our goal. If you are interested in adoption, your prompt responses are the best way to get through the adoption screening* *Paws First does not accept checks or credit cards. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY ADOPTIONS AT ANY POINT IN THE ADOPTION SCREENING PROCESS.* If you have read this far, you are ready to start the adoption process! Please email for the next step, which is a short email interview to get started.
