Rex's mother is a sweet red pitbull that lives across the road from us, we're rural, she's had a litter every year for the last five years and they don't take care of the pups, he showed up on our doorstep and never left. They never looked for him either. He's a good boy and would be a great dog for somebody who would work with him. My arthritis is getting so bad I can't handle him, his strength is too much. He's at the adolescent stage in his life where he wants to be dominant and while I'm used to much bigger dogs than him, he's 70 pounds, I cannot physically train him. I don't want to take him to a shelter, but I might have to if I can't find a home for him. He did get sorta aggressive or grumpy whatever you want to call it when I put his new harness on him. Due to his bark we think his daddy is a long leg and long eared red hound dog that hangs around whenever Rex says mom, Bella, goes into heat. I just wish Bellas owners would take better care of her Because it's time for her to come in heat again so they'll be another litter running around our road in a few months.
