About Georgia

Georgia is a great dog, loves to lay around and bask in the sun. She was found at a kill shelter in Georgia and we adopted her to keep her from being put down. We did not have a clue what kind of maintenance she would require. She needs some dental work, including a tooth that needs to be removed. I clean her teeth and gums with a cotton ball and coconut oil, her ears have to be wiped out, and she sometimes gets yucky eyes but that is due to her tooth situation. I can no longer keep Georgia because she keeps attacking my chickens. She hates cats and will attack them as well. But don't let that hunting instinct fool you because she is otherwise a very dosial and loving dog. She is great with my kids and she is loved. I believe she was from a puppy mill situation (according to the shelter) and she doesn't like it when your foot comes near her, she jumps/gets scared like she has been kicked before. She is very laid back and low energy. She doesn't need to go for walks and takes tons of naps. She does love attention but isn't annoying about it. It is heartbreaking to have to make this decision but I have tried keeping her kenneled but a life in a kennel is no life for any dog. We do love her and want to see her go to a proper home with someone who knows what it takes to care for an English bulldog.
