About Rusty

Oh what a doll this guy is!! Much better looking than his pictures.I tried but just couldn't capture his cuteness,especially when he gives you that full attention look,tilting his head a bit with your every word.Quite a good listener! Rusty was a little stinker at the vet where he was being held for adoption. Hear he even nipped a few people.Some dogs just DO NOT like the vet or groomer and he is one. They couldn't deal with his atitude there,and things looked grim for the poor guy,so I thought I'd give him a chance. Was dreading the worst,but once he got here,he is a sweetheart!! he immedietly sought attention with a big smile on his face and lots of kisses.He does okay with other dogs,but would be happy being the only one. I did try to brush him,and he did not like that.Best left to an experienced groomer,and future vet visits will also not be fun.Are they ever?I have one that empties his anal sacks in fear...yep...quite a proud moment, not! Rusty needs an experienced dog person to let him know he does not rule the place and with lots of time to spend with him(he wants to be near you at all times).Rusty is housebroken,walks on a leash,and was very quiet on our car ride here.He is 5 yrs old and 17 lbs.He looks just like a Pomeranian,but at 17 lbs,must be mixed with something-?
