About Stringbean

American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Meet Stringbean 45 lbs -- Male American Staffordshire Mix DOB 2-15-17 This is one of the sweetest boys we've ever had the joy of fostering. He gets along great with all the dogs we have met on our walks and is a sweet housemate with our older girl, always there with a gentle kiss for her. He is housebroken and will sleep just about anywhere, but prefers sharing a bed with our daughter. He sleeps through the night. Outside, he loves to play with toys, explore the garden, and keeps an eye out for critters. He is very alert when squirrels or bunnies are around, but responds well to corrections and 'leave it.' He walks well on a leash and allows others to pet him, especially enjoying a good ear scratch. Sitting around the house, he loves to cuddle with people and squeeze in on the couch. He rarely makes a noise, only letting out a single playful bark on two occasions when initiating play. Stringbean has been neutered and had a clear health check with the vet. Mr. Bean would be a great addition to any family. I imagine that in a short time in a new home, he will be the type of dog that would bond with any loving person or family. We will miss him, but would love for him to find his family. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed. Please consider becoming a foster home while you search for your new best friend. We need foster homes - pounds are overflowing with puppies and adult dogs that are at-risk and need help. We can only rescue as many as we have foster home commitments. Fostering is a rewarding experience for your family.
