About Alfie

This is Alfie! - he's a young (aprox 6 months) mutt puppy looking for a new home. My kids brought him home with the intentions of keeping him but it's apparent that he's not going to work out as a 'farm dog' with our Rabbits and Chickens. I would say he is not safe with small farm animals even if they are securely fenced. He can be redirected from chasing - he will come. What he is good for is being a very people loving dog, good with older kids, Good with other dogs (big dogs I don't have small dogs) and seems OK with our house cats but has had little interaction with them. He loves our potbelly pig - she's not as fond of him. Alfie would love a big goofy dog buddy to rough house with. he could be your next jogging partner and hike leader! As far as what type of dog your guess is as good as mine but from where my kids picked him up they say his Mom was a Husky. He's had some basic health care (wormed and booster shot, due for Rabies) I would recommend a crate or a secure area for him when you're not at home or asleep as he's a smart fellow who knows what the kitchen is for. He's a sweet bouncy guy that just needs a person to love.
