About Tripod - 3 legged

Tripod was found roaming the streets in hunger and pain. His leg bone was sticking out and infected. He was immediately taken to the hospital and had his leg amputated. He also tested positive for Ehrlichiosis, a tick borne disease similar to Lyme's. Tripod has been through a lot and has now healed from his surgery, treated for the Ehrlichiosis, gained weight and can run with the best of them! This 2 year old Aussie mix loves all people, gets along with most dogs, and ignores cats. He can be possessive of his food with other dogs which is probably a result of what he has endured in the past and would do best if fed separately. Tripod is a very special guy looking for his forever home. Please help Tripod find the loving family he deserves. He is also housebroken. Tripod is a great dog!
