About Tucker

Tucker is a very sweet and kind dog with the family. We adopted him from a shelter last September. We were told he is a Chocolate Lab and German Shepherd mix, though we are not sure that's true. We were curious and did the doggie DNA test and that came back saying he is 100% Lab, which is also not true. We are thinking there might be some Black and Tan Hound, but who knows! Tucker is amazing with our family including our two kids, as well as a young pup who is constantly pestering him. We also have 3 other male dogs in the house as well. When we first got him, he was marking on everything in the house. We had to resort to a doggie diaper and he did show a lot of improvement but lately he has begun marking again. He really needs to be in a place where he is the only dog. Tucker would also benefit from someone who is home, someone he can always be next to. Tucker needs more exercise, but not at a dog park as he does not get along with dogs in that setting. Tucker is a great dog, very loyal, and loves to be pet and cuddled. Though he needs to be the only dog in the home, with an owner who is around often, and a strong owner who knows how to take charge.
