About Nyla

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hey there, I'm Nyla (but my foster mom calls me Nyla Pants for some strange reason). I'm a super loving, gentle, and playful little pup. I show affection by cuddling and giving kisses to my humans and canine foster brother. I also have a playful side which involves chasing and squeaking dog toys, wrestling with my canine brother and following his lead. In my quiet time, I love chewing bully sticks and of course 'Nyla-Bones'! I really love my foster brother, and show him my respect by licking him and following his every move. I am sweet-natured and well-adjusted. I'm very easy to walk and love going outside. I'm comfortable with kids and consider myself a pretty great all-around companion. One important detail: I'm smart AND food-motivated, a combination which makes me easy to train. I just love obedience training. I learned to sit and down pretty quickly. And best of all, I'm potty trained! Come meet me this weekend. If you're looking for a sweet, good-natured, easy going, loving pup, you've found her! I'm sure I'd be a great fit for your home. I just hope my foster mom and brother won't miss me too much. Nyla is a female Lab Mix with an estimated DOB 5/25/18. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
