Mountain Cur mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

BREE - READY FOR HER FOREVER HOME & FAMILY Isn't she a pretty girl with her brindle 'coat of many colors?' This is Bree, a year old Mountain Cur mix who is looking for a 'happily ever after' for her story.Bree and her two siblings were dumped near a park area. Sadly, someone shot the two siblings but Bree survived and was seen by people searching for food. Frightened and fearful of humans, it took many weeks for rescuers to gain her trust and finally trap her. She is happily living in a foster home now where she has learned that people can be loving! Bree loves to cuddle with her foster parents while they all watch movies....for hours! She is building up trust and is slowly learning to transfer that to other people she meets. It is felt that she would do best in a home with no children due to their activity level as their running/playing/ noise level would possibly frighten her. She remains cautious around new people and can be skiddish if frightened. This is very understandable considering her being chased and her siblings killed! She has grown in so many ways after a short time! She is learning to leash walk and to sit for treats and attention. She loves being petted, hearing 'sweet talk' and playing with other dogs. She is doing so well and this is just the beginning of her new life! Bree would love a home with a quiet couple or single person where she can continue to blossom!
