About Ozzie

This handsome guy is Ozzie, a 4-year-old Rat Terrier, who weighs around 25 lbs. Ozzie is a healthy, moderately active rattie in the prime of his life, who enjoys going for walks and loves to play fetch. He does well on a leash but is insecure about meeting strangers, particularly men and children. He barks but is not aggressive, and he will usually warm up to the men if they are gentle and go slow with him. With children, Ozzie gets very anxious. He would really prefer a home without any kids unless they are older, like teens, and will be understanding of his fears. He gets along OK with other dogs and loves playing with his two best friends, a couple of pugs. Ozzie is mostly house-trained and knows the commands for sit, lie down, stay, wait, and come. This smart boy also knows some tricks and would love to learn some more! He is affectionate, a snuggler, extremely loyal to those he trusts, and he'll make someone a wonderful companion.
