About Jax

Max came to us from high-kill San Bernardino shelter in SoCal. He was so terrified of everything there that he wouldn't even get up off the floor, so his prospects weren't high of getting adopted, even though he is a beautiful and very young boy. He is leggy, so will make a great running partner. Is learning how to trust humans (maybe for the first time in his life) so will require someone who is firm yet kind, who has a gentle touch and warm voice. He is actually really good on a leash! Is learning quickly-knows to sit for meals and treats, loves to be with other dogs, just unsure about the human component but responding very, very well.
