About KIMBER

Kimber is the sweetest girl and her life had been a Cinderella story, until suddenly and so sadly, it has been turned upside down. Kimber is a 5 yr smaller Pit Bull Terrier, weighing about 50 lbs, who was rescued by her beloved Dad when she was 2 years old. Up until then, she was kept outside on the end of a chain and continually bred at a puppy mill. When her Dad rescued her, life became wonderful and happy. Unfortunately, her Dad suddenly died at a young age and Kimber kept a silent vigil beside him for several days as the two lived alone together. She was so precious to him, he took meticulous care of her. Due to her history, she was an only dog 'child', a Daddy's girl, and he gave her all of his attention to ease her fears as she is very needy. She has wonderful manners, is house trained, current on all of shots and preventatives - she was Dad's constant companion. Unfortunately, his extended family can not take her. She is looking for a new, quiet home with older adults or a single person. She will do best without any other pets or children as she is easily frightened by noise and unused to a 'busy' home. She is an indoor girl who only likes to go outside to potty. She LOVES adults and loves to give kisses. She is looking for someone who will be loving, patient and as devoted to her as she will be to them. She is a beautiful girl who so deserves to be loved again.
