Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet. Unfortunately Jeju is now looking for his forever home again, very sad. Jeju was adopted but needs to find a new home because unfortunately he chases the cat in his current home but while in our care he was fostered with a cat so this has developed in his current situation so Jeju cannot go to a home with cats. Jeju is neutered, chipped, up to date on his shots & heart worm negative, he is 1 year old & weighs roughly 39lbs. Jeju's current family said he is always happy to greet everyone he meets but may bark at them before making a wagging wiggling approach. Jeju is a happy well rounded fellow who loves to play with his current dog sibling with tug of war with toys, chasing each other & wrestling. He currently sleeps at the foot of the bed & does have a little separate anxiety when left alone so he would definitely need a home where people were there or willing to work on this & he loves the attention & affection of people but he is not to fond of being bathed, brushed or having his nails clipped but will tolerate it. Jeju enjoys a good car ride but appears to be uncomfortable when picked up. We do not know for sure what the mix is with Jeju & it's always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. Jeju must go to a forever home with another very playful dog in the home & this is a requirement. He currently lives with a family with children & is respectful to them but it is always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals & children together. As with all of our rescues & Jeju's friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training will in fact take them to training. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Jeju & going through the process and have read his listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it's a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Jeju that meet all the requirements for this adorable little fellow. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Jeju has an adoption fee of $680 & is ready for his forever home. My name is Jeju & I am a male Shib inu mix puppy who weighs 15 lbs & unfortunately the beginning of my story was a very rough one, I was in a death shelter in Korea & I was extremely ill & my fur & skin was a mess & I definitely was not going to survive for much longer, my skin was exposed & I had a major skin infection as well as an eye infection & was extremely underweight & it most certainly seemed as though my life was over until a wonderful Koreon rescue who are a lovely husband & wife rescued me to save my little 6 month old life, but now my future is oh so bright as now I will also be very well traveled & will be a USA citizen & looking for my loving forever home who will cherish me. My foster family in Korea taught me to take take treats nicely, I know to go on potty pads & to go potty outside & I love people & other dogs, I will be going to a new home with other dog friends to play with in my new home. I really enjoy playing with toys & I walk well on a leash. Of course I am still a puppy who is very curious about everything & of course I still need work on my potty training & a new family who will continue to work with me on training in all areas of my little life. I need a home where it is mandatory for another dog to be in the home with me to play with & my family needs to be at home.
