Sweet Rascal was adopted from a wonderful No Kill Shelter a few years ago. A couple of weeks ago he was returned to the shelter. His adopters could no longer care for him because he was blind. He's only six years old and way too young to be blind, therefore the shelter knew that something was wrong. It was discovered that this handsome boy is diabetic. The adopters did not know it, so it went untreated and unfortunately he lost his eyesight. Rascal was given a full work up at the vet clinic and is now on the exact right amount of insulin. He gets a small shot in the morning and another in the late afternoon. He's a mellow and sweet little guy. He needs a hero. Could that be you? Contact Terri at 815-464-7298. www.pawstinleypark.org
