About Oliver

Not only does he have handsome good looks on his side, but Oliver is also super smart (and may just have the makings of a trick dog extraordinaire!) This looker is a 6 month old, 40 lb Hound (best guess!) mix who is on Long Island and looking for a FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME ASAP. His current mom says that Oliver is a fully house trained pup whose favorite activities include chasing a frisbee, going on long walks (where he loves to find BIG sticks to carry around), snuggling up on the couch when he's sleepy, and splashing in puddles! He sleeps quietly in his crate through the night, and he even takes afternoon naps. Oliver and the little girl in his current home just aren't meshing well, and she is afraid of him. We need to find Oliver a home where his family will continue with his training - he still needs a little work with jumping up to say hello. He'd do better with older kids 12+ (he's fine with the 9 year old boy in his current home) who can help with training, and he'd love another friendly dog to play with during the day.
