The name's Marie and it's a pleasure to meet you! Now, if you'll just scoot that laptop over, I will crawl right up in your lap and tell you all about myself. Don't worry, I weigh about 8 pounds, so I'm probably lighter than that fancy computin' machine of yours anyway! I'm hoping to find a forever home with someone who will hold me, dote on me, and genuinely cherish me for the incredibly sweet doggo I truly am. I hold the world class snuggling championship trophy and I don't plan to give that up any time soon. Kids are definitely my favorite to practice my snuggling skills on, but I also like to be around other dogs, even big, giant ones! I'm also very proud to say that my house training skills are on lock, so you can spend zero time cleaning up messes and all the time by my side loving on me. Looking for a pocket-sized snuggle buddy who is all play and no work? How about a good, gentle companion for your kiddos or other dogs? Well friend, I'm glad to tell you that you are definitely looking for me. Come on down to the Waynesboro Petsmart between 10 AM and 2 PM on Saturdays to take my snuggling skills out for a test drive. Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
