About Bennett

Adoption Fee: $175
Chow Chow mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Hello friend, my name is Bennett. After spending some time in a rural kill shelter, I've come all the way to Augusta County fully prepared to take over your heart. Or at least your spare time. They say age is just a number, and that definitely applies to me. My foster estimates that I am somewhere between 3 and 5 years old, but I am a big baby when it comes to being cuddled and held and I'm a big (and good) boy when it comes to training. That's right, I'm house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained! So when I mentioned taking over your spare time, I wasn't referring to any of the hard stuff. I just want someone to spend time loving on me and maybe showing me some awesome shows on Netflix. I'm very submissive and calm and I've done great with kids and other dogs. Nothing sounds better to me than curling up with your kids and taking a nap, especially if they know how to give good belly rubs. I will need to be crated when left alone, but I'm really hoping I don't have to be left alone for too long every day. I know you have to work to buy me dog treats and cool dog clothes, but it's just hard for me to be alone after all that time in the shelter. And really, I just love the thought of being with you. If you are interested in meeting me, please come visit me at the Waynesboro Petsmart on Saturdays between 10 AM and 2 PM. Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. For more information and to apply to adopt, please visit www.augustadogadoptions.org If you google our address, you will be directed to Richmond. That is NOT our adoption event location. If you have questions, please message us on Facebook.
