About Freya

Meet our little goop of honey, Freya! Freya is a total sweetheart, female, 2 year old Schnauzer mix who came to us from Ensenada as a bad abandonment case. All she wants is love, and she has undergone trauma being left alone. She is working through her separation anxiety and yet is such a ball of love! She has been spayed and is learning house training with regular bathroom breaks. She is improving on her leash walking habits. Freya is very friendly girl who likes all dogs and kids that she meets. She showed non-aggressive curiosity and will need help getting used to cats. She is so sweet that everyone who meets her falls in love with her. She is the perfect mix of fun/playful and loving/mellow. She is goofy and you can't help but smile watching her play outside, at the beach, where she comes alive! She loves people and is a major cuddle bug. She can sleep through the night by herself! Inspite of her past struggles, she trusts and attaches so quickly! She does struggle with separation anxiety, which will need to be worked through with the use of training/daycare, until she can feel comfortable knowing that her humans will come back for her when they leave. We also believe Freya is a great candidate for CBD oil use, to help her relax and feel less anxiety when alone. She will do exceedingly well with an active family who will make her a constant part of adventures. An experienced dog owner who will spend most of the day with her and help her get over anxiety will be helpful.
