About Daisyduke

Daisyduke is fostered in Bradenton, FL (Manatee County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families. Daisyduke is a 5-6 month pup just shy of 10 lbs. She is a little dog with a big attitude! She has feathery ears, feathers on her long limbs and is not a smooth coat. We are guessing on the breed mix. She watches birds fly and chases lizards. She also herds - big dogs, little dogs - it doesnt matter. She LOVES toys, tugging and squeakies. She is very fast and loves to zoom around the yard. She can be a bit shy with new people, but warms up quickly. Lap dog potential is there but she is waaaay more than a lap dog. This dog is pretty fearless, and definitely has potential for agility or flyball. She needs to learn basic commands, and her leash walking is okay. She does want to be with people, and would definitely benefit from a sports home with other dogs. She is very very smart, learns easily and if you are looking for a height dog or a small for agility or lure coursing, I would invite you out to meet her. She is starting to go out on social outings to get her more rounded out. She is an endearing creature, elfish in nature but huge in energy and endurance. This is a dog for a performance or very active home that can give her a job to do. She is crate trained and almost done with housebreaking. She doesn't act like a puppy at all, but she is still. We are enjoying her very much, she is a FUN dog! Daisyduke will be spayed prior to adoption, microchipped and brought up-to-date on her vaccines.
