About Jim

Seven-year-old male German Shepherd with recent successful knee replacement surgery. Absolutely loves adult humans, not sure about children. Jim does not do well with other animals, cats or dogs. Very loving and affectionate and responds to several commands, including sit, stay, lay down... Well behaved and able to be left alone. Jim loves stuffed animals and tennis balls and loves to play as his recovery from surgery allows. I hate to rehome Jim but several of my family members who I visit often have dogs and cats. I was not aware of how he responded to other animals until after I adopted him. Jim would thrive in an area where he has some room to be the only animal, and with no daily contact with dogs or cats. He is such a sweetheart but just gets stressed out by other animals. He is such an awesome dog for the right home!!
