About Solomon

This handsome Texas Heeler (Cattledog/Border Collie mix) is Solomon. He is a 9 1/2 year old boy who is ready for a great home. He weighs about 55 pounds. Solomon has been somebody's very best friend twice, and he lost them each time. The first person ended up homeless and just recently his second best friend passed away. Now he wants his last best friend. Solomon is a nice guy and incredibly loyal. He is house trained already. He is a sweet boy who likes to snuggle. He loves walks and short hikes. He is good in the car and is good on the leash. He is a spunky guy who loves to attack the water that comes out of the hose. So far, he hasn't met a stranger, so should be good with just about anyone. He is also nice with larger and smaller dogs, again with rare exception. He does have a hint of older hips, but Rimadyl and CBD oil keep him moving quickly. He has navigated stairs fine and jumps like a pup when he sees someone he loves. He just needs someone who won't let him get fat and will keep him exercised. So, if you want a handsome dog, love the breed, and frankly don't want any of those puppy shenanigans, and you want a dog who will blend right into the family and enjoy all of your activities, including couch time, then this is your guy. Solomon is incredibly loyal and is absolutely best friend material. Solomon is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. We do not ship our dogs. He is available for a meeting and adoption in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
