NICK - A4111606 Hi, my name is NICK. I am a neutered male, red and white American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old. I have been at the shelter since Aug 13, 2018. I was pretty sick when a caring stranger found me and brought me to the shelter, but the Docs here have got me all fixed up now, and I'm ready to go home with you. I'm a very good boy - walk good on a leash, and love to be petted. I get along just fine with most dogs, especially those that are calm and polite. Kinda selective about hanging out with rowdy, obnoxious dogs though. I get a little overwhelmed when there's a whole bunch of those kind around. I love people, and will lean into you if you'll give me some good petting. When I get left alone, I'll whine softly to let you know that I just want to be with you. I'm kind of a baby like that. I think I would make a great walking or hiking buddy. If you have a dog already, it would be best for us to meet before bringing me to his/her territory. I've been here quite a while, and they say the shelter is pretty full, and they need more room. I think that means I might go on the euthanasia list. I don't know what that means, but I don't think it's good. I promise I would be a good boy if you'll just give me a chance. Please?
