About Rooney

Rooney is a submissive, lovable sweetheart! He was adopted by a woman who lived in TX and then months later she moved to MA. Apparently, she didn't realize that dogs, especially puppies, need love and attention. Well, a friend called and asked if I would take him because she was going to drop him off at a shelter. She kept him in a crate for over 10 hours a day and then said, he didn't like to eat...so he only nibbled on a little bit of kibble here and there. This sweetheart LOVES food and when you ask if he's hungry and wants to eat he goes right to the kitchen and sits in front of the counter. He walks great on a leash and has learned sit and down. We're now working on stay and door boundaries. He loves other dogs and just wants to play and then sit/lay with you. He's very submissive..basically the perfect pup! The biggest part of this whole thing is when she dropped him off to me she handed him over and he came right to us and never looked back at her...that told me all I needed to know! All he wants is a home of his own with a family that will love him and take him for walks. Fenced in yard preferred so he can go outside and play at his leisure. Because he wasn't neutered an needs to be you will receive up to $300 back with proof of neuter.
