DOUG - A4102909 Hi, my name is DOUG. I am a neutered male, brindle and white American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 7 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Jul 02, 2018. I am a well-mannered older gentleman who just loves people. I get along just fine with kids as well, and even other dogs. Besides my smashing good looks, I'm also quite adept in a great tug of war, and I love going on walks. I think I would make a great walking or hiking buddy. I'm very sweet and gentle, and will 'sit' for a treat or just a neck scratch. Even though I have a few years on me, I am very playful, and will give you years of laughter, love and loyalty. I have been here a very long time for a shelter animal, and they say I am beginning to deteriorate in the kennel. If I don't get out pretty soon, they will have no choice but to end my time here on earth. Please, would someone step up and give me a chance to show you how loyal and loving I can be?
