About Pig

Daisy was rescued from a livestock auction in October 2018 when she was just two months old with her sisters Daffy and Minnie. They were all terrified, but over the past few months they all have become much more social with people and other animals. Daffy and Minnie were adopted together and that left Daisy on her own. While she enjoyed being with our adult pigs, they did bully her so we decided to send her to a foster home where she could get more individual attention. Daisy has been in foster care just a short while, but already she is thriving! She is living with three young kids, a dog, two cats and a bunny and so far does great with them all. She is even doing well with her housebreaking and goes to the door to ask to go outside to potty! She is working on her leash skills, and still throws major piggy tantrums when you ask her to go somewhere she doesn't want to, but with more time and consistency, even this will improve. If you are looking to add a piglet to your family, Daisy is ready to meet you! She is still a bit timid, so a pig savvy house with another pig to keep her company would be wonderful.
