EZRA - A4104316 Hi, my name is EZRA. I am a neutered male, brown American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old. I have been at the shelter since Jul 09, 2018. I'm just a real gentle and sweet little boy. I've had a hard life - might have been abused, as I came here with lots of cuts, injuries, and pretty dirty. It took me a while to start trusting the humans here. In fact, I still kinda shy away my head when someone comes to pet me. But I really like people, and will snuggle up to you after a few minutes. Because I'm head-shy, it's probably best if I don't live with little kids, as they don't always know how to respect a shy dog. I love going out of my kennel, usually walk really good on a leash, only pulling when I first get out ('cause I'm so excited to get out of my prison cell for a while). I would make a great walking or hiking buddy. I like most dogs, although some of them are a little obnoxious, and I shy away from them. I do get a little anxious when there's not a handler nearby. I know how to 'sit' for a treat, and I have really good manners. They say if I don't get adopted soon, I will go on the euthanasia list - I don't know what that means, but i don't think it's a good thing. Would you please give a beat-up little guy a chance for a normal life? I promise to love you forever. I promise.
