About Sophie

We are needing to rehome our white gsd.She is a small gsd at around 57lbs and has been a house dog all her life. She is more of a light tan color�'�|very beautiful. When we take her for walks or to the vet, everyone comments on how pretty she is! Sophie knows basic commands (sit, stay, come, down, shake, leave it, drop it, free dog) and is acclimated to a simulation collar. I use this collar when we go outside without a leash to keep her 'minding' and out of trouble. She does really well with it and just stays by my side the entire time. I would like to find her a home with someone who has experience with gsd's. She needs to be ran/walked at least twice a day, played with and loved unconditionally. I want to know that wherever she goes she will be there for the rest of her life. I don't want her moving from home to home. I already feel bad that I took her from my sister last year only to need to rehome her due to my husbands allergies. She has become attached to us and it will be very sad. She needs a lot of activity as gsd's are high energy. She loves to play in short bursts several times a day, loves to go on her leash for walks/runs and loves to ride in a car! She does not, however, like to be outside by herself (except to go potty on her chain) or to have her nails cut (I use a dremel to file them and she does fine. She has had bad experiences at PetSmart with my sister) but what dog does?! She, also, is not fond of cats or other dogs (she gets jealous�'�|at least that is what my sister said). If you know of anyone who is interested or know some place that I can call, please let me know. I am not sure of the cost yet. She will not be free because I want someone to invest in her which will hopefully mean, they will keep her!
