Sweet and loving, senior survivor Meet Rupert: Rupert's story will tug at the heartstrings for sure. Rupert was found living in horrible conditions. He was abused, starved, neglected and curled up in a ball when he was found. %A0We thought he was dead. He weighed about 35 pounds, had lost much of his fur coat and was just barely hanging on. He was brought to the vet, given the necessary treatment, fluids, vaccinations and much needed TLC. Fast Forward a few months, he has been at a boarding and training facility where %A0he is thriving. He has gained weight, plays with his toys, and still loves to give and receive affection. He is selectively dog friendly, but not a dog park kind of dog.%A0 We have sent him to a boarding facility where he has had extensive training. %A0 He is a loving and active senior who enjoys playing fetch with his tennis ball and running around in the yard. He weighs about 65 pounds now, having fully recovered from his terrible past. He is a super sweet and loving boy looking for his forever home. The past is behind him now and he is just living in the moment with lots of attention and love that he craves. He is about 6-7 years old and is a Staffie Mix. He has a beautiful white coat with dark eyes. Come meet Rupert. You will find him on our website: www.doggiebonez.com and on our social media such as Facebook and Instagram at @doggie_bonez_inc_
