About Marci (with Papi)

Reason for being in rescue: Margie and her canine and feline siblings were surrendered to a rural animal shelter by owners who were moving and didn't want to take her with them. Special Needs: none noted What kind of home would be best for me? Margie will do best in a a calm home that will love her and her friend Papi together. They are bonded to each other and need a home that will accept and love them both. Owner Experience Level 4: Second or third dog, no experience with behavior or medical issues other than routine end of life issues What is my personality like: Margie is a bouncing ball of joyful energy. She doesn't meet a stranger and loves everyone she meets! She has a great personality and does well in almost any situation. As long as she has people to love her, and a dog or toy to play with she perfectly content. She loves treats but she does not know any basic commands yet, and knows how to walk on a leash. How do I act when I first meet new people: Friendly Tips and Tidbits: Margie would love to go to a home with Papi, his brother. House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
