She is a 2 year old female lab mix from Puerto Rico. The street dogs there are called 'Sato' and that is a Puerto Rican slang term referring to a mixed breed dog. This smart, fearless girl made it thru Hurricane Maria and deserves a second chance here in the states. She is a nice size, medium height and only 47lbs. Great with cats and would probably prefer to be an only dog. She is a dominant girl but you have to understand that is how she made it on the streets in Puerto Rico. Only the strong survive. She is wonderful with people, walks very nice on a leash, loves to sit with you on the couch and is doing very well in a crate (3 hours was the max) when we have to leave the house. She loves her toys, LOVES HER TOYS�'�|and is enjoying the dog bones too. Rosalita also LOVES kids of all ages!!She is working on house training but she is smart and that will come. She would be a perfect dog for a person in an apartment or condo because she doesn't need a fenced in yard. She likes her walks on a leash. If you have cats and they would like a dog friend, she is the dog for you.
