About Ziggy

Ziggy was rescued by us in Jan. 2018 with his brother in hopes they would give our older cat some playmates.By June none they were still not getting along. We were able to rehome Ziggy's brother, and thought we'd found a home for Ziggy, but that one fell through. We've also discovered that Ziggy has chronic urinary tract cystitis disease-he develops urinary crystals which make it painful for him to pass his urine. He has a special prescription diet (Hill's Science Diet c/d urinary focus/stress), and gets shots once a month. He's such a sweet kitty and just wants to be with his human all day. Enjoys playing with strings and feather toys, lounging on the enclosed porch and sleeping on his human's lap. I would keep him myself but he and our old cat just don't like each other at all. Have to keep them separated. It's hard for both of them.
