About Sally

Welcome Sally to SDK9! Sally is a young pit mix who can come across very timid and shy at first. Sally will need a family who understands that 'less is more.' We understand that Sally can become very besotted easily with her human, and can go to stage 5 clinger in a day, so in order to help her continue on the path to well balanced she would benefit from a decompression period once adopted. The most important phase dogs go through after being adopted is the Decompression Phase, also known as the Two week shutdown which is vital to allow Sally the time to decompress in her new home. What does this mean for new adopter��%BD��%BD%BD'��%BD��%BD%BD| nothing much other than to WAIT and lavish the love and affection until she understands her place in your pack. We can and will provide information at time of adoption counseling if you meet Sally and feel she is the dog for you. Sally has been introduced to crating and has done well, is quiet in her crate, is treadmill trained (which is a great confidence builder), and is up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, as well as spayed and microchipped.
