Need to rehome our dog named Whipplefilter. We had a baby and there just isn't any time left for him to get the attention he needs and deserves. He's a very loving and protective dog but a true lab so if you do not have any dog experience he is not for you. It's a plus if you have raised a lab before since they are very demanding dogs. Just the honest lowdown on him. He needs 3 walks a day and several more trips outside. He will dig a hole all the way to China in your yard if you don't watch him especially if you have moles. He whines when you don't pay him attention and sometimes barks like a maniac in the morning if you don't let him out of his crate but it has gotten way better since we started ignoring him until he gets quiet. He likes to chew and is a power chewer so only high quality toys. He farts...a lot so you'll need a certain food and what I call his fart pills which can be ordered from Chewy. I also give him pumpkin treats which I simply make from sugar free pumpkin puree and scoop with an ice cream scoop onto a pan and freeze. He gets 1 a day to keep his poop firm. So anyways, a true lab. He loves to play and knows the commands sit, on me, lay down, quiet (when he wants to), high 5, and occasionally stay. He is the smartest most stubborn dog I have ever met and will do anything for food...anything. So if after all that you think you can handle him he can be your buddy for life. He is just too much for our family and I am really tired seeing him follow me all day begging for attention. He's super loyal to anyone with petting hands filled with food. He is potty trained and has been microchiped. Comes with his crate, food and rolling container, toys, leashes, blankets, and a raised bed lounger. He is an inside dog.
