About Maya

My family couldn't keep me, so I need a new family! Hello, I am called Maya. I am a happy girl -- in fact, my people said sometimes I am over friendly! I enjoy car rides, tennis balls and tug ropes. If you like to run, I will run with you, and then I want to snuggle up and relax. I'm a younger gal still, just about 1 year old and I am spayed! And get this! I already know how to sit and lay down! When I lay down, I like to roll over for belly rubs...just so you know! I'm medium sized, maybe 40 pounds or so. Kiddos about 12 and older who are nice to pooches like me would be so fun to be around! I've been doing better in my interactions with other nice dogs! I can be a bit selective, so I would like to do a few meet and greets before going home with them, but it is a possibility! I prefer to have a fenced in yard so I can run and play! Either by myself or with another nice doggie! I don't like it when you leave, and sometimes I chew on things because it helps me calm down. But if you give me a nice crate to stay in it helps make me feel safer. My main specialty is turning on the bathroom water faucet! I just love water! I am a professional snuggler/kiss-giver.
