About Clifford

I am Clifford, a super big guy -- Giant Schnauzer and Mastiff mix! I am three and a half years old and am neutered. I love when you pay attention to me, throw sticks for me to chase, take me on car rides. Being in an active home would be nice for me. New people make me uneasy. Please give me time to get to know you before you try to kiss and hug me -- yuck! My old family was having a baby and they were worried that I wouldn't like it. Here at the shelter they think I probably would be happiest if kids were not part of the equation, and that's okay by me. I am good at sleeping in my crate, it's my safe fort! I learned how to 'sit', so I can probably learn more things if you take the time to teach me. You should know that I had a little run-in with a lawn mower a few weeks ago and I have a cut on my leg. The doctor took care of it and I have some medicine that makes it feel better. Soon I'll be good as new! Because I am a super big guy, the shelter might want you to visit me a few times to see how it goes. I hope you don't mind, because I would like to find a new family and get to go home again!
