About McIntyre

Plott mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Name: McIntyre Sex: Male Breed: Plott Hound Mix Age: 10 months Weight: 51lbs Good with: People and dogs. No little kids and will chase cats just for fun. McIntyre is looking for a family that loves to be outside. He likes to hike, run or just about anything out doors. He travels well in a car so he would be up for a road trip to explore some new trails or hiking areas with you. McIntyre just loves attention and affection, once you start petting him he is likely to roll over for belly pets. He's a very smart boy , a quick learner and is VERY sweet. He makes funny noises when he gets excited. He loves to play fetch and go for walks on the beach! He is very inquisitive about life up here, as he was formerly a country bumpkin! He is working hard on his manners and knows his name and 'sit', he's also crate trained! McIntyre is very food motivated so he will do well with continued training. An attendee and the K9 officer had him doing 'paw' during an event that he attended recently. He is a little pup with a big dog bark! He doesn't bark often but when he does it will make you look for a different, larger dog Lol. No little kids (under 5-6) only because he does jump when excited and we don't want him knocking over little ones. He is good with other dogs but he likes proper introductions to dogs (parallel walk as opposed to nose-to-nose). He will chase a cat but if he catches up with them he won't do anything to them.
