About Bonnie and Clyde

Two days ago, my girlfriend found two strays in the middle of 249 going south while she was driving to work. They're super skinny but they seem to be buddies, one a male chocolate lab/pit mix and the other a female grey and white pit mix. The mom seems to be the grey one, the son is the brown one. They're really nice and sweet, but we can't keep them because we already have a dog, cat and two guinea pigs in a small apartment. We took them to VCA on Jones road, where they had checkups. They have some cuts and damaged skin, are malnourished and tired. The vet said the grey dog has swollen lymph nodes, but said she does NOT have cancer. Right now, they're on the balcony (it's covered, they won't get drenched) with food and water. I'm contacting the shelter I volunteer for and I hope they can take them in, but just in case if anyone either knows who these dogs are or can suggest a better course of action let me know. These guys need a home and I really DO NOT want them going to a kill shelter. I just can't do that. They're underfed and tired, with a bit of mange and matted hair, but they're very sweet and need help. Would it be possible for Brave Bully to help these guys out? I can't keep them and we need somewhere for them to go and have a better life. We love them, but the apartment will not let us keep them with the animal limit and we can't give them the care they deserve at the moment.
