This beautiful little boy kitten AND his brother (I am assuming), whom I have posted on this site under Animal Name Unknown 1, were ILLEGALLY ABANDONED in my fenced in back-yard about 2 weeks ago. He and his brother were huddled together and crying loudly on my back porch steps. It was almost 100 degrees outside that day when I came home early evening and found them. They obviously were not accustomed to being outside as they were frightened by any and all outside noises such as the birds, cars starting up or driving by, etc. I took them in my house and have put them in a large room that is separate from MY cats/kittens. Bought them little beds, a cat's stand, and all kind of cat toys. They both eat dry and solid cat food without any problems and I have witnessed both of them using the litter box without any difficulty. He was/is very affectionate from the first he saw me. He wants attention and wants to be held, cuddled, petted, etc. He is exceptionally loving and friendly. His fur is medium to long in length and is silky soft. His fur is caramel colored on ears, top of head, back, and tail with white in the middle of his face, his chest, belly and legs. He has a unique marking of caramel fur around his nose and mouth that is so cute. His tail is significantly fluffier than his body fur. His eyes are caramel colored. He appears to be healthy (is not skinny, no visible injuries or skin problem, no coughing or nasal drainage, no diarrhea, etc.) Whomever abandoned him and his brother are beyond cruel. He is full of love and wants to share it apparently. As far as his actual age, I do not know but he is definitely not full grown and I am guessing he is around 4-5 months old perhaps. Bringing him and his brother into my home puts me over the legal limit of cats permitted in a home in my county and state, OR I WOULD KEEP THEM. I do not have a local SPCA (it was closed down a few years ago) and the only no kill shelter near me will not and in the last 10 years, has never taken in any kitten or kittens from me when contacted. And the next closest no-kill shelter called has a too long of a wait list. It is very apparent that he and his brother are extremely bonded. I think they have been through enough with whomever abandoned them, let alone BEING abandoned OUTSIDE in a foreign environment to them, that separating them to be adopted individually would not benefit either of them. It would be wonderful if he and his brother could be adopted together but to save them from a shelter, adopting him or his brother individually is an option. Please contact me only if you are serious about adopting him and/or his brother. You have to agree to keep him, or them, as indoor cats always and you will need to travel to my home to see and adopt him or them. I don't know how long I can keep them here so please contact me as soon as possible. Thank you so much.
