MARIA - A4095507 Hi, my name is MARIA. I am a spayed female, gray and white American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Jun 19, 2018. I'm a very strong, but loving little girl. I just love people - other dogs? Eh-not so much. I really listen well, and could learn to do tricks and stuff, probably. I like to walk, but I'm gonna need someone who can handle me cause I pull really strong. I like splashing around in the kiddie pool. I do 'flinch' when someone tries to pet me with their hand above my head, so I would probably do best with adults only, or maybe older kids. I think it would be best if I was the only pet in the house - I'm kinda particular about being the boss, you see. I have been here a pretty long time, and they say they are out of room, so I may not be long for this world. Would you save me? Gimme a chance? I promise to love you forever. I promise.
