About Nala

Nala is a one year old Red Nose Pit Bull. She was my Fianc̩es elderly grandmothers dog and unfortunately she passed away 4 months ago. Nala is one of two dogs that were displaced. Nala is a very sweet girl and always got along with the other female dog whole she was with my fianc̩es grandmother but unfortunately she started showing signs of agression when we brought her home with us. She will no linger go around the other female she lived with or my fathers female dog that is also in the home. We cannot figure out why her mood has changed so drastically. I tried to keep her up to date on shots as much as possible whole she was in her care and also had her spayed. We brought Nala into our home and love her like our own and unfortunately she just cannot get along with my dogs here. Im saddened that we are no longer able to try to help her. I have four young children in the home as well and she does okay with them but has a short temperment so I do not allow her around them either. I have reached out to all local and some not so local shelters/spcas/humaine societies/ and rescues and have been turned away by all places because of either population overloads or they do not help semi-aggressive animals. Someone please help us find this furbaby a loving home and get another chance at a good life. I really dont want to see her put down. Thanks so much in advance.
