About Snyder

Snyder is a 2 year old, 43.5 pound male, Golden Retriever mix that was surrendered to us due to a move. According to his previous owner, Snyder is good with children of all ages, and female dogs. He has not been around cats or male dogs before. The also informed us that he is housebroken as well as crate trained and knows basic commands such as sit and down. Snyder is described as a lap loving, social butterfly that is active and playful. Shelter staff describe him as an energetic boy that loves to move and explore. Snyder will do best with a family that is active and willing to involve him. He does like to be touched, but doesn't appear to be an overly cuddly dog and would much rather play. Although Snyder enjoys running along the fence line playfully with other dogs, we have not had him nose to nose with any thus far.
