About Luna

Luna came to us from a home that could no longer care for her. She has been through puppy classes and the basic obedience so knows how to behave. She is a large dog so small children, under the age of 8 is not the ideal placement for her unless you have prior experience with large dogs and small children. She is quiet in the home but will bark for knocks on the door as well as at any rabbits, squirrels or birds that dare to come across her path. She is a true hunter, which she has the breeds in her to know how to act with small critters around. She is totally housetrained and crate trained but a very good dog in the home. She enjoys meeting people but will bark sometimes, which can scare a person approaching. With time and work she can overcome that fear of some people. She loves to swim so it is a must that she get that as part of her new home. She is truly a wonderful dog that through no fault of her own has ended up needing a new forever home.
