About Tater, Adopted

Boxer
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

'Hi there! Tater here. My foster mom says I am almost ready to start looking for my forever home and that it's very important that people know all about me. That way I can find the home that is the very best fit for me. I was found as a stray, so no one knows exactly how old I am, but the vet says he guesses I am around 3-4. I'm a medium sized boy, weighing in at about 50 pounds. Although I was a stray, my foster mom feels that at one time, I was someone's pet. She says I know far too much to not have been trained by someone. Here at my foster home, I have several foster siblings and I love them all. I've been told I am very dog friendly and would get along with pretty much any dog, however, little dogs might find me to be a bit too much. I'm learning how to play with other dogs and toys and I really like both. I love to snuggle with my human family too. Honestly that is probably one of my favorite things to do. So if I come to live with you, you must love to snuggle too. Here at this house I have a doggie door that I know how to use. I am a very good boy about not having accidents in the house. Even when the doggie door is closed, I let someone know when I need to go outside. I also have a crate here that I go into at night and when my foster family has to go out. I don't mind my crate much at all and I never make any noise while I'm in there. Since I've been here I've learned to sit and how to lay down. I'm working on other things like ''off'' and ''stay'' and I'm getting pretty good at those too. Foster mom says I'm pretty stuborn though when it comes to off. She says I'm not a lap dog, but I think she's wrong! LOL I've also been told that I walk pretty good on a leash, which is one of the things I knew how to do when I first got here. Oh and I also really like to go for car rides. I just love to see everything, so I don't really sit down in the car. There's just too much to see for me to sit still. I really like kitty cats, but my foster mom says it's not in a good way. So if you have cats, I'm not going to be the pup for you. I guess that's pretty much all there is to know about me. I'm a very good boy who just wants a home and a family of his own. I'm currently recovering after having heartworm treatment, so I have to take it easy and stay very calm. But after November 7th I will be good as new and ready to start meeting families. I hope you are one of the families that will be waiting to meet me!'
